About the tour
At Your Service Cancún Presents, Cobá & Mayan Village
This tour is ideal for those wanting to experience Mayan culture up close. We visit one of the main Mayan cities, hidden in the jungle and surrounded by native vegetation and lagoons. Cobá features ancient white roads called 'Sacbé' and three main areas: Nohoch Mul (the main pyramid), Conjunto Pinturas (spiritual area), and Macanxoc (near the lagoon of the same name).
Cobá is the only Mayan site preserving a great variety of stelae and stone carvings, protected by palm roofs. These stelae document the main events and historical facts of the city, helping archaeologists decode the history of Mayan civilization.
We then visit nearby communities to learn about their traditions, cuisine, and lifestyle, followed by a visit to a natural cenote. Please bring comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, a swimsuit, towels, and biodegradable sunscreen.
